FWP are working with Greenbank Partnerships to deliver Leigh Sports Village. The current phase is a 64,000sq ft food retail unit, together with associated non-food retail.
Leigh Sports Village has been identified as a 'model' facility for the integration of sport with enabling development.

Proposed Preston CBD Hotel & Office Development - £NA
The scheme involves a major hotel & office development in the heart of Preston city centre. The proposed design, consisting of modern office spaces and contemporary hotel accomodation, aims to provide a focal point for the newly developing central business district which links in with the proposed Tithebarn masterplan.

Fusion Room Bar
FWP were employed to deliver a complete package for this exciting project. From providing a logo to designing and delivering a contemporary two storey gourmet restaurant with living accommodation on the third floor. The client, a former contender on Gordon Ramsays ‘f’ word, was delighted with the proposals put forward by FWP, and the final outcome of the completed scheme.

Mears Carpets - £550K & £600K
New Retail and Storage Unit Phase 1
FWP were engaged by Mears Carpets to provide design and achieve planning approval for a new large retail and storage unit. This achieved the project went ahead on a deign and build basis, with no external structural bracing and by using a mix of horizontal and vertical cladding.
Office Block Phase 2
The completion and success of the new retail and storage unit, necessitated the requirement for extra office space. Situated in the grounds of the original unit this 3 storey, smooth profile cladded and patent glazed building was sited over the main drain for Longridge and had therefore to span over the pipework.

The Millennium Needle, St Helens - £350K
The erection of a 20-metre high stainless steel 'millennium needle' with a stairway wrapped around featuring lighting at the top through a number of star like holes was FWP’s solution to provide a focal point to the town and address the security issues of the existing entrances to the roof top car park of the Hardshaw Centre shopping mall. The ‘millennium needle’ is visible from most parts of the town centre, and links pedestrian footways with the roof top car park.

Urban Exchange Shopping Centre - £2.2M
FWP were commissioned to provide a shopping mall which would house the Preston Post Office. The works included the demolition of an old engineering works, and designs for a mixed use modern building which would provide both retail and office space. The building is a good example of great design complying with current DDA Regulations achieving access for all.
