Greenlands Sports Village - £10M
FWP have been commissioned to produce an outline planning application for a new sports village near Wrea Green, Lancashire. The proposed development on the site of a redundant farm will provide an outdoor community based sports facility set within a landscaped parkland.

Bold Miners - £2M
Phase 1 Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre has undergone an extensive refurbishment inside and out. The facility includes; social club, sun lounge, function rooms, large meeting rooms and offices. It is also home to St.Helens Health Partnership, St.Helens College, the Police and Sure Start Parr, providing a one-stop-shop for the Parr community.
Phase 2 Plans to build new sports changing facilities at Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre and Clock Face Miners Recreational Club, St. Helens, are set to go ahead, thanks to £135,000 funding from the North West Coalfield Communities Regeneration Programme (NWCCRP).

Gateway Goes for Guild - £1.1M
A RIBA competition entry for a Sustainable Social Housing scheme in Preston. The design is for 10no. extendable and adaptable housing units located around a new green square. The proposed development has been designed to incorporate cost effective renewable energy technology aiming towards a zero carbon footprint.

Peter Street Community Centre - £1.8M
Following public consultation with residents and users FWP’s deigns for the refurbishment and extension of the community centre included facilities for; education including an IT Suite and a community learning project, extensive training and conference facilities, office space used by a range of voluntary sector and community agencies, including a social enterprise, a brand new community suite to accommodate community based sport and social activities, a council resource centre, a library express and contact centre. During the building process FWP in partnership with Wardle Armstrong had to resolve issues arising from the presence of a previously unidentified 70metre deep mine shaft.

Platt Bridge Community Zone - £750K
The scheme was developed into a regionally significant Youth Enterprise project incorporating; youth cafe, creche, training suite and business start-up units. All this was housed in a converted maisonette block that was due for demolition.
FWP provided comprehensive management and architectural services.

Shakerley Community Centre - £700K
FWP advised the client to demolish the existing dilapidated building as the most cost effective way of providing necessary community facilities. This decision made, FWP secured funding from 4 different bodies including the National Lottery for a new purpose built building which houses services for all age groups including; a community / function room, IT suites, offices, kitchen, ball pool with nursery and a café.

St Augustines Communtiy Centre - £5.7M
FWP provided a cost and project management role, including assisitng with the draw down of funds from various sources, in order to provide our client with a new community building comprising; IT suite, crèche, offices, sports hall etc.
