The property has recently won the best redesigned house of the year, voted for by the public, on Channel Four's Grand Designs.

Lawson Street Apartments - £7M
FWP produced the conceptual designs for this city centre development, “The Room”. Planning approval was achieved changing the use of the site from a car park to an 85 bed apartment block.
The scheme has been managed by FWP, and developed together with both Downtown Living Ltd and the Construction Partnership UK.

Glovers Court, Preston - £4.6M
The site for this mixed use development of 65 microflats and 5000 sq/ft of restaurant space, is located on a busy thoroughfare in Preston City Centre. This FWP concept design for developers Downtown Living Ltd, is to be submitted for planning approval within the next few months.

Outline plans have been submitted to planners for 776 new homes – including 150 for key workers. Emphasis is more on affordability with some units well under £100K. The scheme is mainly apartments with some double units.

Spotland Road, Rochdale - £12.5M
A revised planning application for 100 town houses across the 1.65 hectare site. With the demolition of the existing cotton mill, the design has grouped together some town housing to create the mass/ visual appearance of where the old mill would have been. Commercial space as been positioned carefully on the site to replicate the old 4 storey high engine room.

Residential Dwellings, Haverigg - £1.2M
FWP have been commissioned to produce a detailed planning submission for the conversion and adaptation of existing farm buildings in Haverigg, Cumbria. The proposed scheme for 10 residential dwellings will create contemporary living accommodation within what is currently a redundant site located in the centre of Haverigg. The planning approval application was submitted in June 2009, and the scheme was approved in August 09.

Cobre Business Park - £3.6M
FWP have designed the proposals for a new business park in Garstang, north Lancashire.
The 3 acre brown field site, on the A6 corridor between Preston and Lancaster is owned by Cobre developments. They intend to transform the park into an employment centre by attracting new businesses and jobs.
The park will be developed in two phases. The first phase will comprise office space ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 27,000 sq ft. The total development value is anticipated to be £3.6M.
