A drastic conversion of the 1930’s public building, together with modern extensions, provide a broad range of health services, accommodating two GP practices; dentistry; dieticians; optometry; and a CHD (Chronic Heart Disease) unit. Including a small triage with diagnostic X-ray facility, the centre will be able to deal with minor injury on-site, easing some pressure off acute trust A & E departments in the area.
