FWP worked with landscape architect Randall Thorp to develop a master plan for Salford Forest Park, a 2,000-acre site near Worsley in Manchester. The scheme included plans for a forest visitor attraction and an international-standard turf and all-weather racecourse on greenbelt land. Wherever possible, existing farm buildings were retained, and new structures were designed to blend in with and complement the rural location.

The scheme included a four-star, 120-bedroom hotel with conferencing facilities, a grandstand, ancillary facilities, an indoor equestrian arena with stabling, and eco-village residential lodges. All buildings were designed to be sustainable in terms of energy and material usage.
