FWP led the restoration of the historic outdoor fish market canopy. The Grade II listed structure has undergone an extensive refurbishment to restore it to its former glory.
The fish market canopy dates back to the 1920’s and is a wonderfully ornate structure, the new paintwork and lighting added during the refurbishment enhance the stunning original features.
Preston City Council provided investment for the re-development of the Markets Quarter.
The scheme forms part of the wider £50 Million regeneration area which includes the construction of a new indoor market, the refurbishment of the outdoor market canopy and a new 11-screen cinema, seven restaurants and a new multi-story carpark.
