Walton Hall

Warrington, Cheshire

Client: Warrington Borough Council
Value: £5 Million

FWP were appointed by Warrington Borough Council as cost consultants to work on a multi stage improvement plan for Walton Hall Gardens in Warrington.

Phase I of the project was for a two-storey extension to the Grade II listed Walton Hall, the historic centrepiece of Walton Hall Gardens and home to the Greenall family until the 1940’s.

The project provided several challenges, including the need to keep the park open to the general public whist the works were carried out.

Phase II of the project included the upgrade of the existing Conservatory, Glass Houses and Shippon to their former glory providing horticulture and animal husbandry benefits to the park, the historic significance of which dates back to Lord and Lady Daresbury.
