Over the past few years, FWP has been involved in a series of significant projects at Bury Grammar School in Greater Manchester. Our role spanned various aspects of building surveying, quantity surveying, and CDM services. Among the projects we’ve tackled were the creation of a new reception and entrance for the primary division, re-roofing of flat roofs, and an extensive window upgrade throughout the school. We also added new fire escape stairs, a necessary upgrade for safety and compliance.

Each project at the school has required a tailored approach, balancing the school’s specific needs with practical and aesthetic considerations. The new entrance, for instance, transformed the first impression of the primary division, while the roofing and window upgrades significantly improved the infrastructure’s resilience and energy efficiency. These changes, though varied, shared a common goal: to enhance the school environment for students, staff, and visitors.
